Le Château is one of the brand's most important collections due to the number of pieces, the improved material quality, and its complex and sophisticated designs. This collection, like all our launches, has undergone a long team effort process.
WE TELL YOU THE PROCESS:
First, approximately 7 months in advance, our designer, Lucía Aquino, does inspirational work. In this case, she wanted to combine the elegant spirit of past times, when jewelry aimed to be discreet luxury, with modern femininity. In addition, one of the objectives of each collection is to create versatile pieces that different types of women feel comfortable with, as well as to facilitate their combination to suit any occasion.
After designing the pieces, Lucía meets with our artisans to show them her ideas and confirm that the designs can be materialized. Once the designs are approved, the artisans begin to materialize them in resin, so that Lucía can check if the structures and sizes are correct. These first prototypes are tested by the entire team to ensure that everything is correct before being made with the authentic materials. At Dosprimeras, any suggestion is welcome.
An anecdote from this collection is that, when we tested the detachable Le Château earrings, the idea arose to use the chains in another, more discreet earring style. Therefore, on the fly and experimenting with the Fleur d’Or, we created the Le Fontaine earrings. A design that is also detachable, but with a smaller earring, which can also be used as a piercing in different positions.
This collection has a total of 14 pieces, including: rings, necklaces and chokers, earrings of different styles, piercings, a bracelet, and two hair accessories, a headdress and a scrunchie.
At the same time, creative ideas are developed. Around the story of the collection, we chose the name Le Château to reflect the beauty and nostalgia of the well-known French gardens: Versailles, Les Tulleries… For this reason, the names of the pieces are in French and their meanings transport us back in time.
In addition, we wanted to do a photoshoot to represent everything we wanted to convey with this collection. Therefore, the production was carried out in Retiro, Madrid's most emblematic park; and both the looks and the props reflected the 19th-century style.
Finally, before the launch, we collaborated with IPA Brand to hold an event with some very special guests where they could get to know Le Château up close and, for our part, learn the first external opinions. It was a complete success!
