Our new collection, called Encuentro, was launched on September 11th, after more than 5 months of preparation. We wanted to develop a strong and symbolic vision behind the concept of crossing, finally represented by the figure of an "X", as a connection between two paths. The cross symbol is not just a geometric element, but aims to represent destiny and the transcendence that a coincidence can have in our lives.
We wanted to innovate by including a new shade, without losing the essence of the brand, in order to maintain the elegance of its pieces. Thus, the idea of using high-quality Czech crystals, as we usually do, but in sapphire blue, emerged. An ideal color to convey depth and calmness, two words with which we identify destiny and connection. As Ana Iglesias, the brand's founder, adds, "it represents a large part of the brand's personality, as it is a color that conveys elegance, serenity, and loyalty."
However, the message is almost as important as the aesthetics when we talk about jewelry. Therefore, a geometric shape is a perfect distinctive feature to wear, due to its simplicity and minimalism. Our designer, Lucía Aquino, has combined it with more striking elements, such as large links in the Encuentro Necklace, or large Czech crystals. Furthermore, "I love geometric shapes for the versatility they offer. These designs allow us to elevate any look with jewelry, something we do a lot at Dosprimeras," explains the creative behind the pieces.
This collection consists of 5 pieces of jewelry whose composition is based on a structural 18-karat gold-plated brass base, with a 24-karat flash finish, which guarantees greater durability, shine, and quality to the piece. In addition, each design has been elevated with the hammered technique, a very characteristic working method of the brand.
This collection offers the Encuentro necklace made up of 2 chains of XL links combined with crosses, a very special piece that brings light and adorns any type of neckline. The Recuerdo earrings and Ágora earrings, the former long, and the latter button-shaped, to suit different styles of women. The Memoria ring, an XL jewel with 3 crosses in relief. Finally, the Eón ear cuff, a type of jewelry that has been included for the second time in Dosprimeras to continue bringing innovation to the designs.
